E-payment

Moderator William Vanobberghen

Summary:

The e-Payment session will essentially focus on the recent growth of doing payment by using state of the art channels of communication (Internet, cellular telecommunications, contactless card payments, etc.) due to the on-going deregulation initiated by the European Commission and the European Central Bank. The testimony of new actors in this field (telecom operators, payment transactions processors) will help to understand how this disruptive process will be taking place in Europe and how it will affect the current market of traditional payments.
